Books
Turning pain into words, and words into healing.
Reclaim
Begin by reclaiming safety and voice. In your own words—privately at first—you name what happened and what you need now. No performance, no pressure; the story belongs to you again.
Transform
With gentle practice, the story shifts from a source of overwhelm to a source of meaning. Language clarifies, boundaries settle, and what once felt chaotic becomes coherent and kinder to live with.
Overcome
Overcome isn’t “getting over it”—it’s living beyond it with sovereignty and an authentic voice. You choose how (or whether) to share: pen name, a small circle, or the wider world. These books are the result—survivor-centered, non-graphic, and guided by consent.
The Stories Told
Published Books
This shelf includes two kinds of TES works—each created with care and clear consent.
Personal Accounts — Authentic, heartfelt, and 100% human-written (no AI drafting or ghostwriting). While every story is unique, many readers will recognize their own echoes within it. Non-graphic, survivor-centered, and often published under a pen name. Written to be both healing and inspirational.
Guides & Practices — Instructional resources (e.g., Forgiveness & Healing, When Silence Speaks) that offer clear frameworks, step-by-step practices, and reflective prompts. Survivor-centered and non-graphic; any examples are anonymized or composite. Designed to support real-life skills, insight, and steady progress.

About Narrative Writing
At The Empowering Story (TES), narrative writing is a coaching practice: brief, guided prompts with gentle grounding that help you tell and shape your story—at your pace and with clear boundaries. You decide what stays private and what is voiced. What this work delivers: Clear, cohesive language for what happened and what matters now. Steadier days and boundaries you can keep. An owned, authentic narrative you can stand in—and live by. Pages ready to shape into a book in your voice, on your terms. Publishing isn’t the starting point—it’s the natural last step for some. The books on this page are living proof of what this process makes possible.
You’re ready to tell the world. What’s next?
You’ve done the TES work — your story is coherent, yours, and steady. Here’s how we take it to the next phase so you can decide to publish on your terms. 1) Intent & Boundaries Clarify purpose, who it’s for, what belongs (and what doesn’t), and how you want to be named (name/pen/anonymous). 2) From Story to Pages Shape an outline, then build chapters with gentle momentum and focused, human editorial support. 3) Voice, Kept Intact Refine for clarity and care — tighten language, protect voice, and align every page with your values. 4) Presence, Not Pressure Choose a cover direction and short preview text; share only what feels right, with trusted eyes first. 5) Decide & Share You choose when and how to release—limited circle or wider world—with a sustainable plan that fits your capacity. Your story. Your pace. Your terms.
